Resolutely New Years

Dear Allan,
When are you going to: eat better, get exercise, make that album, do that art project, go to that place, take that dance class, go back to school, find that job, take that writing course, learn the name of those plants, fix up the shed, make that movie, perform that thing, grow your first garden, have your first child, get that gold tooth, spend that time alone in the woods, live in New York for once Summer month, live in Illinois for a month or two and write that great book about family and ghosts and dreams and soil and loss and identity and big fucking confused, sad, dreaming heart? When?
