The other day I was thinking about how there really isn't any end or beginning to any of the seasons, they just bleed into one another in a near endless cycle. I find this way of looking at things more comforting than the rigidity of endings and beginnings. Life goes on and on in an ever circling loop of change and rebirth. When we die our energy feeds the energy of other living beings so that life continues. However, in our society, disconnected as we are from natural cycles, celebrating the solstices and equinoxes seems to be a good first step, so happy equinox!
